Notifications etc

When I get a notification that a poster has quoted me or similar, I click on it but it doesn’t take me to the post, just the thread itself
same with notifications - it will take me to the thread not the post which has been liked etc

Same here. It started yesterday. Also, if you use the “show all” function for the OP of a thread and then click on one of the specific posts to go to that post in the thread (i.e. in the full thread, not just the OP only posts) you go back to the start of the thread.

In case it’s relevant I’m using Safari on a MacBook- all software completely up to date.

Just to let you know I’ve just tested to see what happens on my phone (iPhone, Safari - I don’t use the App). Exactly the same experience - I get thrown to the start of a thread, not the place the link should be taking me.

iPhone 15 - all updates done (IOs 18.5)
Safari browser (I don’t use the app)

Hi @rubyslippers @HawthornLantern, thanks for the extra information – it's really helpful. We have a theory about what might be causing the issue - would you be able to record your screen while clicking on a notification where you've been mentioned? When you do, please wait for the thread to fully load without scrolling or tapping on the page at all. Once the thread has completely loaded, you can stop the recording. Please send the screen recording to: [email protected]. This will help us to confirm and fix the issue.
