MN logging me out for one thread in particular

I stay signed in toMumsnet (premium subscriber) pretty much all the time and have been following the thread on IndiaWilloughby/JKR but it seems the site has logged me out for just this thread.
The OP's post now comes up in a different colour and it runs to 12 (presumably short) pages according to the site. And worst of all it's littered with adverts!
It is also telling me I need to log in to make a comment.

Ah, i see it's been fixed now. But odd, nonetheless.

Hi...

Apologies for these problems.

Thanks for reporting this. We're making some changes and this seems to have been an unintended side effect of those changes.

We're working on it and everything should be back to normal soon.

I am constantly being asked if I want to 'sign up' if I try to vote on an AIBU or click on see all, but I am signed in.
Hoping that this isn't a sign you intend to make these payable features.

And now it's the same for another thread in the 'sex and gender' section.
"We need to examine why so many women (including some prominent feminists) pushed the trans movement"

I'm having the same issue on every thread I try - I appear logged in until I try to vote on aibu or look at all an OPs posts, but when I try to login, I get sent to an expired page.

Same here.

Weirdly glad it's not just me / my computer!

MrsMitford3 · 21/05/2025 12:25

I have just been logged out 3 times on the lake garda thread, it is super annoying.

I thought this when it happened to me

It would completely ruin MN if they did that-hopefully they would never be that short sighted.

I commented recently on the pink banner they were testing to highlight posts-not everyone saw it-and they received a lot of push back on that-that it seemed like gatekeeping and was disingenuous.
I no longer see it on my "Trending" but don't know if it because of the opposition they decided not to do it, or because of my opposition they blocked me from seeing it!!

Lots of tinkering- and not a lot of improvements...
