Font size?

On the app on an iPad, the font size is now tiny. Is there a way to make it bigger? Even with reading glasses, it is hard to read and much smaller then my other apps

Thanks for reaching out. We recently adjusted the font size in the app to better align with other apps. Could you describe which text feels much too small for you now?

Would you mind taking a screenshot and sharing it with us so we can ensure everything looks as it should? If you could also let us know what kind of iPad you're using, that would be amazing. Thank you!

One thing that might be worth a try is uninstalling and reinstalling the app just to make sure you're up to date as we did adjust the font size a couple of weeks ago to bring it in line with other apps.

Many users have found that adjusting the fonts in their own devices has worked too, though we can see that some people on this thread have then found other apps too large to read once Mumsnet is big enough.

If that's your experience (ie you've increased the size in your device settings to make Mumsnet big enough to read but are now finding other apps too big for your device as a result), could you tell us which other apps then appear too large? We're looking here at some of the major apps like Facebook, gmail. WhatsApp and others, having increased the font size on devices, and they don't look huge at our end, but it would be really helpful to know which apps are affected by this. Screenshots would be really helpful too so we can see how they compare.

Thanks @parietal - that's all really useful info. And thank you to everyone who has sent screenshots, too. What we really need to know now is which apps are ending up 'too big' when Mumsnet is legible. Lots of users were saying that if they adjusted their own settings to make Mumsnet big enough to read, their other apps were ending up really huge.

We've tried to bring Mumsnet in line with other apps as it sounded like it was reading 'small', so what we'd like to know is which 'other' apps are appearing bigger than ours once Mumsnet is adjusted to be a big enough font to read comfortably. We've tried to match to some of the major ones like WhatsApp, Facebook and Gmail, so it would be really useful to see which ones aren't a similar display font to ours.
