Site problems - I didn't volunteer for a trial or test

Hi,
I didn't volunteer for a test group and my scrolling has gone completely mad

It looks like you either scroll through 1 million posts or you get an option to load more and you can't arrive at a place where you can just add a reply

I'm not on the app - just using a browser

What is going on? I did see a thread but it looks like people have signed up for a test.

I definitely haven't. Something has gone wrong on the whole site from my perspective - anyone else?

it seems to be okay on thread where I've booked marked my place, but I think I've literally started posting as it is taking effect

there aren't any pages. It's bonkers. Why should I have to press a button to read this thread in order? Am I just being really thick? Is there a way to reset it to what it was? Thank you.

Yeah, it's definitely not normal today.

Unfortunately, I'm not very observant so I can't list lots of things that are different, or exactly how they were before🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

But the thing bothering me the most is I can't get back to active at the bottom of my screen like I used to

I'm also finding if I click on a new thread, it doesn't take me to the first post

No one signed up for it but they just selected a bunch of people to join a trial without their knowledge so if you want out, say so on here and they'll take you off it:

I finally figured that out last night so I have asked them.

It was so crazy because in order to avoid being on a test for endless scrolling, I had to navigate a thread with endless scrolling without knowing where I could find the answer. And I knew people signed up to test something so I thought, it can't be that because I didn't.

Then I was really puzzled because I thought the site would be full of complaints about the change, but of course because only a few of us have to suffer it, it's not full of people complaining and I thought my device had gone wrong.

Honestly I respect that it's their website and they can do what they like so I mostly don't comment on this type of thing. But the irony of not being able to find the answer to this one because you have to go through endless scrolling, which is the problem you're trying to solve...argh.

Will try keep off for a few days (and do something constructive LOL) and hope that it gets fixed.

This "disruption" theory in business is infuriating.

I had endless scrolling yesterday. It was awful, I couldn’t keep track and it kept jumping all over the place so I came off the site. Luckily it had resolved itself last night.

Np. They were pretty fast at removing me from the test group once I asked. I expect too that as we are all on different platforms we are having different experiences of how it might not work for us but yes, it was painful and time-wasting while it lasted.
