Can’t read threads

With ads this size popping up in front of them with no x in a box to click out of them. These ads totally interfere with my enjoyment of the site.

I came to post the same thing. It's infuriating and making it impossible to read anything.
I'm using my phone with Chrome and can't continue this thread without the ad ruining it and having to close the page.

Hi - iPhone running safari and latest iOS. I have blocked popups and have to write quickly before the ad disables site.

Same. It’s impossible to use the site with this ad covering the entire screen.

Same here. Iphone using Safari. Started about 12 hours ago. I have to refresh the page and quickly scroll past that part to stop the ad from taking over the page again.

i have the same thing, chrome on phone using the latest IOS. I can’t scroll past or close them and have to click out of the thread. It is making the site unusable

Same and irony I went to post I also couldn’t read threads and the blimin giant ad popped up in my face

I'm using an I-phone 12 on Safari and it's almost impossible to use Mumsnet at all now on it. I just get big grey boxes that say, 'Advertisement' and nothing loads. The site works okay in my Mac, but is virtually impossible on my phone now.

Morning everyone. We have quite a number of people having problems with this particular ad and we are looking into it right now. If anyone else is able to post a screenshot here, that would be really helpful. Thank you.

Quick update. We think we have managed to block most of these now. Could you try clearing your cookies now? That should sort it but if anyone is still seeing these ads after clearing cookies please let us know. Thank you.

I had to install an adblocker to be able to use Mumsnet. The ad was driving me nuts and popping up in almost threads that I was trying to read. The adblocker has stopped the ad.

I agree. Bloody frustrating and annoying. This ad takes up the whole space and sometimes doesn’t have an x out box. It’s coming up every few seconds. Grrrrr. :(
