Now can't post anything

Safari is still a glitchy nightmare, now having problems posting in some threads in the app.

I have tried signing off a couple of times.

Only the desktop is reliable for me now

Hi there @WeAllHaveWings . We'll take a look at this for you. Can we ask a few questions first to help us work out what's going wrong?

  1. Are you on the mobile site or the app when this happens?
  2. What device are you accessing the site from?
  3. Obviously the difficulty is with Safari but what happens when you use a different browser, eg Chrome?
  4. Do you only have trouble when trying to post on a thread? ie is scrolling and navigating around the site pain free?

Could we also ask you to try clearing your cookies before trying again? And also try using the site in incognito mode and let us know if either of those has any effect?

Hey @WeAllHaveWings one other thing to try - please swipe up to quit the app completely and then open it again.

Hi,

It is still happening. Tonight I can create a thread but can't post on the same thread, I haven't used on iPad (MN app because safari is still unusable) since this thread was started.

Tried signing out and back in again, still no joy. If this posts if is still from iPad so it must be thread dependent.....

Now can't post anything

Thought that too so tried both.

So frustrating safari has been terrible for weeks and now app is playing up too. Only thing that works reliably is desktop.

It is happening on the MN app on iPad.

I have tried

logging off/on
clearing cookies
using different posting names
reinstalling MN app
bouncing my iPad off dh's head when he asked why I was sighing again....

Safari allows posting ok but is still too glitchy to enjoy using, sticks constantly. Chrome is not much better for me.

On the MN app it seems to block me from posting on some threads with the error in the screenshot (regardless of what username I use) and then others it is ok. It also allows me to create new threads ok.

Can we check when you uninstalled and reinstalled the app?
