I keep getting this advert that covers almost all the screen, i am on an ipad

Thanks for letting us know about this. Can we ask where the ad is appearing? And also is it just popping up randomly or does it appear when you 'do' something like scroll past it or go to a new page? Finally, is there a 'x' button to allow you to close it or can you scroll down past the ad?

Its been appearing seconds after i open thread out of nowhere, slightly to the right of my screen and just stays so as i scroll down it moves with the screen blocking everything, and no x to remove it, if i click it it goes away for a few minutes but then its back again.

Actually it has not reappeared for the last few threads i have opened, maybe it has gone, hopefully for good

Hi there @AnchorWHAT . Thanks for your patience with this. The problem seems to be that some ads are unable to distinguish between Tablet and Mobile so they are showing up in the middle of the screen on tablets in between content (as it appears on mobile). We're still trying to fix this but it's proving to be a bit more time-consuming than we had thought.

Could we ask you to try Mumsnet in a different browser and let us know if the problem persists then? And anyone else who's still having this issue, it would be great if you could do the same. Give it a go in another browser and let us know here if the problem seemed to remain or not and which browsers you were using.

Was alarmed when seeing Monsoon gaunt looking model advert this morning. She looks very unwell. Nothing wrong with being thin and healthy but this is all kinds of wrong....
