Please @MNHQ

OP posts:

I see that the discussion on National Service has been moved.

This is a policy that would affect every parent with a young child. But if it's hidden away on the Election board, then people won't know about it - but it's important.

I’m appreciating the GE board it keeps it all in one place

Good call op

Are there many people whose only source of important information is a Mumsnet thread?

If you don't access news then presumably it's because you either aren't interested or actively choose not to for whatever reason, its not because of lack of internet

Let those people be in the choice to be ignorant of current affairs

Samcro · 26/05/2024 09:41

please mn hq move all the threads about conscription. (why people can't all post on one thread??)

If you report MNHQ will move them.

I’ve reported many today too and hidden the board.

FFS. Having a specific board for GE posts isn't about hiding posts away. Every time someone posts in the board, that post will appear in Active Conversations, like any other post or thread.

Samcro · 26/05/2024 11:32

the agism on the threads is awful.

I agree, it would be good to have the GE threads in one space so us "bores" who care about politics can find them easily.

Ha! Yes and everyone else can continue banging on about important stuff like Prince Harry, wedding guest dresses and boarding schools 🙄

Samcro · 26/05/2024 12:11

threads about prince harry are moved to the royalmeghanbash topic very quickly.
why can't the same be done with the GE ones.

Yep

And the GE ones are fairly car crash at times

ThankYouAgainAgain · 26/05/2024 17:04

I would like a GE board too.

MinervaMcGonagallsCat · 26/05/2024 17:07
