Issue with PMs

I’m not sure if this is just happening to me but I have been experiencing it for a while.

If I click on a PM from someone, the message loads and I can what they’ve said perfectly fine. As soon as I click on the message box and my keyboard comes up, I get a blank page that covers the majority of the messages. I’ve added a picture so hopefully that makes sense.

Has anyone else had this issue? I have to type out my response in my notes section on my phone which is super annoying!

Can we check what device and browser you're using? At a glance, it looks like the browser memory has cached an old page. The easiest way to fix that is to clear your Mumsnet cache.

I’m on an Iphone 12 or 13 (can’t remember which one sorry!) and I’m on Google via Safari. I was adviced to clear my Mumsnet cache a few days ago when I was having issues adding an image to threads.

So despite clearing it, the issue is still here:(

Can you give it another go, since it was a few days ago? If still no luck, we'll try and replicate. It would be a big help if you could send a screen recording over to [email protected] so that we can see the issue as it happens, too.

Mine has always looked like that - I thought it was normal.

@LilyMumsnet I’ve cleared my cache again and there’s no difference with the PMs. I’ve tried to send a screen recording via email but my phone refuses to send it! I’ll just have to deal with it😅

@DixonD glad to know it isn’t just me! Mine has been like this for a while
