Hi, is there any way to fix the notifications page? It hasn't been accurate in months and I have tried deleting cookies and swapping from Safari to Chrome but this hasn't fixed it.

Is this the issue of the phantom number of PMs you've got? This is what mine looks like and has done ever since the upgrade.

It's been reported multiple times and actually it looks as if MN think it's been fixed (if PM notification count is your issue). I'm going to try the suggested resolution on that thread.

@tribpot I think it's a different issue. See picture attached. Weirdly it's given me your notification from 2 mins ago but the one below it is not form 6 minutes ago, more like 6 weeks ago and I've had tons of notifications since that one but it never updates, until just now when yours appeared. Maybe me messing with the cookies and settings did something.

Oh that's a weird one @thislittlebird , so that notification is always showing there, with the wrong timestamp on it? It never clears off?

@tribpot yeah, that and all the ones below it. New notifications never appear and when I want to click on one to go to a thread I'm always on page 6 of 9 or something because it's out of date.

Hoping MN are faffing with it right now as I'm not getting notifications for some threads I'm watching,* *which is a new thing for me...

We're still looking into this one but will post when we have more of an update!

@LilyMumsnet no worries, I have to say it’s better today as I’m getting notifications, so I wonder if it was a cookies issue.
