It's still going on for me, every time I go to a new page in a thread, or to a new topic, or post a reply, or refresh a thread, the consent pop-up pops up again. I've done everything suggested in the other threads numerous times, but to no avail. Please help, it could be my Christmas present! Thank you!

Hello @Jaichangecentfoisdenom we're sorry you're being chased around by consent pop-ups. Can we double check that you've cleared your browser cache? This is different from just clearing cookies.

Here are instructions for Chrome and Safari.

Please also let us know which device and browser you're using. A few MNers are seeing the pop up lately and we'll try our best to get it sorted.

Hi, thank you for your reply, @YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet . Yes, I've cleared my browser caches numerous times, all to no avail. Using Safari, Chrome and Firefox on MacBook Pro Catalina. It is only on my laptop that I have this problem.

Thanks so much, OP.

We're taking another look at this and will report back. Flowers

Hi there, @LilyMumsnet @YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet - Happy New Year! Another month has gone past, during which I've had Covid followed by gastric flu ,and here I am again, nothing has changed and every time I use Mumsnet on my computer, the same old consent pop-up rears its ugly head every single time I post, update, change pages or threads. I've updated, cleared cache, cleared cookies, changed browsers, done the same with those - and yet, still those consent pop-ups pop up constantly. Should I just abandon hope and read MN on my ipad app, which really doesn't suit me?
Thanks for your input.

Hi OP and happy new year!

We’ve changed our Consent Management Platform to one which allows you to “reject all” cookies rather than having to go through them one by one. For a small number of users this has resulted in them being asked to consent on every page they visit. Please follow the instructions below and the consent pop up should stop appearing once you've reselected your preferences.

iPhone & iPad
Navigate to your settings
Click on ‘Safari’
Scroll to the bottom and choose ‘Advanced’
Click on ‘Website Data’
Type ‘Mumsnet' into the search box
Swipe left on ‘Mumsnet’ and choose ‘Delete’'

Macs
Open your Safari preferences
Click ‘Privacy’
Click ‘Manage Website Data’
Type ‘Mumsnet' into the search box
Click on ‘Mumsnet.com’ and choose ‘Remove’
Click ‘Done'

Hi, @LilyMumsnet - thank you so much, that's finally worked in Safari on my Macbook! Safari's not my browser of choice, but I'll use it for MN only, as Chrome and Firefox are still showing consent pop ups no matter what I do! Never mind! Thank you again for your help!
