Op bumped into a woman she swears is her cleaner in the supermarket, drives the same car and everything. Only her cleaner is obviously Spanish, strong accent and convos about Spain - the woman in the supermarket not so Spanish and denied knowing her.

Other school mums also uses the cleaner, she had a message from one which thought the cleaner was English....then I refreshed and missed anything else. The cleaner was due in again today! I think the op may have been planning to ask her but most were speculating she would not turn up!

Well at the risk of this becoming a TAAT…I’ll live dangerously.

The OP had had a Spanish cleaner working for her for 8 weeks. She works for other people she knows. Said she was from Malaga.

OP saw her in Tesco and said ‘Sophia! Hi!’ And in a posh British accent the woman said she wasn’t Sophia. Then OP saw her get into Sophia’s car. 😂

Then OP messaged one of her friends and asked where Sophia was from and the reply was ‘she’s English, isn’t she’.

So everyone has been thinking she was embarrassed or something and didn’t want anyone to know who she really was but then, she’s only been pretending to be Spanish to the OP. So the mystery continued.

We were all waiting to see if she turned up on Wednesday.

I’m not saying you’re wrong and I can’t really explain why but it just didn’t feel like a troll.

I didn't see the thread and it may have all been true but it's just your summary, and the making everyone hang on for the update? Had me a bit hmm. Maybe in real time it seemed less so.
