We can't have scared everyone away yet, surely?!

Did you ever hear back from the breastfeeding chap? You know the one?

hatwoman · 23/01/2008 22:22

I think we should have one on potty training - especially re getting dry at night

hatwoman · 23/01/2008 22:22

LynetteScavo · 23/01/2008 22:23

I'm drowning in pee from dd2 so I'll second the ptty training expert

ItsNeverTooEarlyForPopcorn · 23/01/2008 22:24

OliviaMumsnet · 23/01/2008 22:45

Which breastfeeding chap?
Was he a man who was breastfeeding?

hatwoman · 23/01/2008 22:53

kerry k is not an excellent idea. poor woman would never recover.

hatwoman · 23/01/2008 22:56

actually I want to ask gordon how he manages to have a succesful career and run marathons. wouldn;t have anything to do with taking the piss out of your wife would it?

call me bitter but when I look at someone (someone with kids, I mean) knowing damn well that they must spend 90 per cent of their waking hours doing stuff for themselves it does make a little, erm, what's the word, sceptical (and that's on a charitable day...)

ahundredtimes · 23/01/2008 22:58

Oh I bet Gordon's wife would come along, because she's just done that cooking for a family book hasn't she?

And then we could say, yes, yes stuffing aubergines is all very well but tell us about Gordon.

ahundredtimes · 23/01/2008 22:58

And tell us just how pissed off you get.

EffiePerine · 23/01/2008 23:00

I want Melvin Burgess and Anne Fine on children's books. Preferably in the same room with a web cam.

Seriously, something on Reading Books For Fun would be good - a children's author maybe?

cornsilk · 23/01/2008 23:01

What about the woman with the autistic boys who was on a documentary a while back. Her son wrote 'Freaks, Geeks and Aspergers syndrome.' She'd be good.

LynetteScavo · 23/01/2008 23:04

Charlotte More. She's the writter, single mum with 3 DS's 2 AS, and one NN.

hatwoman · 23/01/2008 23:36

I wouldn't mind Terrance COnran so thta I can tell him that the piece in the Waitrose mag in december about Christmas in the conran household was one of the most smug materialistic (whilst pretending not to be because your children play outside and you're all so wholesome) pieces of tosh ever...

9bimey I'm bitter tonight. must be the baileys'

hunkermunker · 24/01/2008 09:37

The breastfeeding chap was the one referred to on the thread with...no, can't remember her name...she came on to talk about children and didn't have any clue what her remit was. Am still being vague, I realise this!

how about the money guy for tips on sorting finances

child savings mortgages pensions etc.

I know it is boring but all this talk of recession is freaking me out

NotQuiteCockney · 24/01/2008 09:55

Jack Newman?

He's very nice, I've met him. (But then, he's Canadian, so what do you expect?)

hunkermunker · 24/01/2008 10:00

No, not him - although that would be amazing if you could get him!
