Need your consent keeps coming up

Every time I go to a new thread or next page , I get a Mumsnet needs your consent page pop up it's making the site unusable .

I'm using safari on iPhone

Yes - same for me! Every flippin' time I click to new page or thread!
Macbook and Safari here too.

I click accept and close and move on and it appears again, and sometimes it is just a white box with the text missing.

I have had to switch to firefox for MN I asked for help on this a few weeks ago and was given advice that didn't work

Hi all and hi @godmum56 we're sorry it didn't work. Are you still seeing the consent box on every page now?

We'll post the advice again for anyone who hasn't tried it but of course, please let us know if it doesn't and we'll investigate further solutions.

Please follow the instructions below - it should stop this happening but do let us know if not, along with details of your device and browser and a screen grab if possible.

Here are the instructions for Chrome:

Computer - Delete specific cookies

On your computer, open Chrome
At the top right, click More ⋮ > Settings
Click Privacy and security
Cookies and other site data
Click See all site data and permissions
At the top right, search for Mumsnet
To the right of the site, click Remove
To confirm, click Clear.

Android - Delete specific cookies

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app
Visit Mumsnet.com
To the right of the address bar, tap More ⋮ > Info > Cookies.
Next to the number of cookies in use, tap Delete

iPhone &iPad - Clear all cookies

On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app
At the bottom right, tap More ⋮ > Settings
Tap Privacy > Clear Browsing Data.
Tick Cookies, Site Data. Untick the other items.
Tap Clear Browsing Data > Clear Browsing Data.
Tap Done.

Here are the instructions for Safari:

iPhone & iPad
Navigate to your settings
Click on ‘Safari’
Scroll to the bottom and choose ‘Advanced’
Click on ‘Website Data’
Type ‘Mumsnet' into the search box
Swipe left on ‘Mumsnet’ and choose ‘Delete’

Here are the instructions for Firefox:

At the top right, click ⋮ > Click ‘Settings’
Click ‘Privacy & Security’
Scroll down to ‘Cookies and Site Data’
Click ‘Manage Data’
Select Mumsnet.com and choose ‘Removed Selected’
Save changes

I've just tried the fix but it hasn't worked

@YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet tried again and it still doesn't work

Not working for me on iPad/safari. If I put Mumsnet in Website Data there’s no way to swipe left to delete it as far as I can see. It’s driving me nuts.

It’s happening for me too, the fix didn’t work unfortunately. Most annoying!

Still seeing consent box with every click…

I signed out and signed in again. That cleared it.

the consent box is still coming up on every page even after I’ve signed out and in again.

Using Safari on an iMac here and getting consent request everytime despite login out and in.

We're sorry so many of you are still having this issue.
