TIO - error 500

Can't get onto TIO. Just get the Error 500 'our server is having a moment' message.
Ipad safari desktop site.

Sometimes, clearing cookies will fix this. Most browsers will let you do that for just one site. There's more info here. Let us know if any joy.

Oh and once you've cleared the cookies, please restart your browser.

Well, it had fixed itself again this morning so I didn't have to do anything. Will see if it comes back again. Deeply weird - it's only TIO that's effected

It's happening to me - TIO keeps coming up as Error 500 with a nice message from MN that your server is having a moment, well it's been having a moment for the last 3 hours.

Desktop, Laptop, Google Chrome.

Logged out, cleared cookies and cache, logged back in and it is still happening. Message says it is a problem with your server and I should go and make a strong cup of tea, I'm now drowning in tea.

@YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet it happened again so I cleared cookies and then it wouldn't let me log in at all! I've sent an email to contactus@mn but it's eventually let me back in.

And STILL got the error 500 despite having cleared cookies and history!

I'm actually a bit relieved that others are experiencing the same problem and it's not just me.

@BronwenFrideswide looks like we are both using the desktop site, despite different devices and browsers!

And my TIO is back again!
For now

@BoreOfWhabylon mine's not, it becoming rather annoying to say the least.

Any thoughts @YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet ?

Just a thought - if you can access the mobile site, is the same thing happening there or is it just on desktop?

I can't read the mobile site @YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet so can't try it.

At present, TIO is still ok...

OK, the good news is we know what's causing the issue. It's affecting a small number of users and so I'm sorry you're in that number, @BoreOfWhabylon and @BronwenFrideswide.

The bad news is it won't be fixed until next week. If you can bear with us til then, we'd very much appreciate it.

Hurrah! At least we know it's a thing and not our error!

For the time being, I'm also watching any threads I post on so I can still access them when TIO starts its nonsense.
