On this thread:

www.mumsnet.com/talk/holidays/4478101-Anyone-travelled-to-from-UK-to-Canada-since-borders-reopened

There was a post on this thread which was spam and deleted and there's a deletion message. Fair enough

However, there was another post - which may have been trying to direct people to a particular travel agency - that has been removed, it was regarding ETAs. The OP responded to it, so did I (think I actually quoted it). There's no deletion message for that post and nothing to suggest mine had been edited. I've never known MN do that before. Is it a mistake or will you be deleting messages without a deletion message in future, so it's as if the post wasnt ever there?

Hi @RosehipSyrupForDinner I'm not seeing that post on the thread - I see one deleted with the usual deletion message. If it's on another thread, would you mind posting the link?

It sounds like this is an error on our part - we always have a deletion message on posts or threads. We're still getting to grips with the new site too and so it's v much appreciated when you let us know about mistakes.

That's my point, the post I'm referring to was deleted (along with another one which does have a deletion message) and there was no deletion message so you wont be able to see anything! I've never seen that happen before, and it's confusing when the post is referenced elsewhere in the thread.
