I've had this problem for the last few days too. Also on iPad safari browser, not app. It's driving me demented. And still no Refresh button.

Ok @ImaniMumsnet, I've only been on Mumsnet briefly a couple of times today, but so far no sign of the of the dreaded "please rotate your device" message. Fingers crossed it looks like you have sorted the problem. Thank you.
