Constantly being logged out

This is annoying and new today. Both on android phone and ipad. Yes I have ticked the box and no it hasn't happened prior to today (other than platform relaunch day for a few hours)

Hi all

This is a tricky one to replicate - I'm not having any issues on Chrome.

How quickly does the site tend to log you out - does it log out after you exit and then return to the site, or during your time on the site?

I can be on a different site, come to MN and click straight to my watching and I'm On pages, so I'm logged in. Then once I try and read the next page of a thread I'm watching it asks me to log in. So for me it's while I'm on the site that it's logging out.

Me too. Android phone, default browser. Had to log in again even to write this message. Has been happening for a couple of days if I leave and then return, even if I've left the page open

Yes definitely to both, I even mentioned the tick in OP.

It's not clear when it why it's happening, it seems intermittent. Sometimes it's after I post and sometimes when I haven't been on for a few hours. It's occasionally in the middle of an active session. It was like this at first launch, then was totally fine until Saturday. Not sure if you did some sort of update around then?

I keep getting this too. Samsung note 10 plus, android on Internet explorer.

Started off the pages just would not load or ot was being really slow so I cleared cookies or cache or whatever it is and ever since then I keep getting logged out.

It happens to me when I navigate away from MN - when I come back I've been logged out.

Hi all

It's likely you do not have Cookies turned on in your browser - can you head over and take a look? Just make sure that your browser allows cookies from 'Mumsnet'.

Hmm, I've just checked and my phone browser is set to Allow all cookies. And I've never had this issue before. However, I logged in this morning and it hasn't logged me out yet, so maybe it is fixed... I will report back if it happens again.

Agree with this, definitely allowing cookies and it is just a recent issue. I'm still logged in after a day at work though so fingers crossed it stays that way.

I've been having this for a few days.

Android phone using the the sumsaung internet browser.

Every few threads, I'll click on see all or something and it takes me back to the log in page to access that feature. Keep logging in,.box ticked then I'm logged out after a few pages again.

Never happened before but since the site changed, it's been happening.

I've realised that the site logs me off when I put my phone in airline mode (at night, or as I did this evening at a concert). This never used to happen.

It's happening again. No logical reason why, just been on home wifi today and haven't touched settings or used airplane mode.

It happens multiple times every day for me.
It's done it 4 or 5 times this morning.

I'm just posting this a last time before I log off and stop bothering. It just isnt under friendly anymore. There are other forums.

Yep, I got logged out last night in the middle of an active session. I'm on the Samsung browser on Android. This started suddenly last Friday maybe? Not having cookie issues on any other site, not changed any settings and I'm definitely, definitely ticking the 'keep me logged in' box.

Hi, all. Thanks for keeping us updated with this. We've been working hard trying to pinpoint the issue. @CeeceeBloomingdale we are going to contact you off the boards to see if we can work out how to fix this, so if you wouldn't mind keeping an eye out for our email, that would be great.
