Quote function not working on app

This problem is back again.

Quoted posts on app are being blended in with existing quote, and cutting of the text at the end.

Other posts are taking out line breaks (so posts are one long block of text, really hard to read).

Only happening this morning, having been fixed.

IOS, App. Logged out & in, persists. I'll try & do screenshots when I can

Here's an example where after the quoted text, the reply is cut off.

Hard to read replies to quotes

On the browser version via the phone, it's fine. But it's made reading or replying to posts on the app impossible today.

Happening to me too and lots of others I'm noticing. I'm on iPhone 12 Pro.

It's not putting any spacing in but it didn't seem to cut anything off that time.

Testing to see whether anything is glitching when I type a longer sentence that runs over a few lines.

Ok, that's an improvement. It didn't cut off any of my text (which was happening) but it is displaying it as one block of text, no spacing or paragraphs.

Actually on another thread just now, quoting a long post cut off my response. So it's not fixed & seems to be linked to length.

I keep seeing cut off posts, after quotes, on the app. And no spacing, text is all bunched up. It's difficult to read.

On the 'tattlelife' thread, last two posts, someone asks what somebody had been going to say. It's a case of text after a quoted post clearly been cut off again.

It's making threads impossible to read - because it works on the mobile browser / desktop versions, posters aren't realising so you are often missing most of a post if on the app.

I just came on to post this. It's so annoying! How can we tell if we are on the most up-to-date version?

If you go into the drop-down menu on the top right hand side (the three bars) & look at the end of the page, it'll tell you the version. It should be 44.12. Just go to the App Store to update.
