Colour change on ‘threads I’ve read’ not working

Since the change to the new format the colour change that used to denote that I’d read that thread had become completely random. So some threads I’ve read are not changing, but several threads I haven’t opened have changed colour. There is no discernible pattern to this, it seems completely random. Anyone else?

I have the same on the app. I've particularly noticed for "threats I'm on" it will change to show as read initially, but will change back to unread when there aren't any new replies.

Hi all

Thanks so much for your patience here.

We haven't been able to replicate this as of yet - so we're not too sure why this is happening.

To get to the bottom of it, we're going to need some further information.
Is anybody able to record a video of:

  1. opening a thread
  2. leaving the thread
  3. the thread not appearing as read

We know that it's a bit of a faff but it would really help if we had a visual to work with.

If you can, please email [email protected] with the attached file.

If you are not able to do this and you're still experiencing issues, it may be that your phone/tablet is running an old version of the app. You can look for updates or uninstall and reinstall the app, which may resolve the issue. Keep us updated.

It's not the ap. Not working for me either. I don't use the ap. I really struggle with deleting reinstalling stuff anyway and finding the constant please follow these instructions to get back what worked fine before upsetting as it is difficult with my disabilities...

It's not our intention to make things difficult - we really do apologise.

We know it's really frustrating, but in order to replicate issues, we need to work out where they are coming from. This can be tricky without the right amount of background.

Can you let us know what device and browser you're using? Most on this thread were using the app but if you're on a browser we do have other options. Flowers
