Where has advanced search gone?

Am I being thick? I can't see it anywhere on the new site (I am using chrome on a mac if that's relevant?).

The quick search also doesn't seem to working properly? - if I for instance search for "dishwasher" it brings up three threads - there have DEFINITELY been more than three threads containing the word dishwasher since the beginning of MN!

Anyhow, I mainly want advanced search as I want to search for recent threads.

m I can’t find my own posts on Advanced Search and now I am only in bold. Apparently I think I am quoting myself or that I am very important so as to need to speak in bold or italics.

I've started a thread in Site Stuff specifically for our mad bolding issue.

Well I hope one day I will be able to find my own posts again in a date range otherwise I'm stuffed

I've been testing this. I found an old post of mine (with fairly unusual words) and have been trying to find it using the new search. I've used the fact I wrote it, plus the board (Telly Addicts).

I haven't managed to get it yet.

I couldn't find it either, @PolkadotsAndMoonbeams - not with MN search nor with Google, actually.

I did manage to find the thread by searching on your name only + Telly Addicts and then using the highly intuitive date sliders to narrow down the time range by getting them to almost overlap each other completely. It finds the thread but not the post. If I add in amnesia (which seems to be what the new search is suffering from) nothing is returned.

Given how painful it is to set up a search, the fact that you can't go back to it after you've clicked on a post to see if it's the one you're looking for is extremely annoying.

Just thought I'd post to see if we're all still stuck on bold today - we are!
