Automatically logged off every time I close browser on phone?

Just that really.
I’ve had to log in every time I want to do anything other than read since the update took place. I’ve cleared browser, restarted phone etc but still happening. Help please?! Thank you!

This happens to me a lot, and I hate it when you comment on a post and then it automatically goes into your watched list too, so you lose the one's you're just watching and it's full of threads you've commented on instead. It makes me really mad as both lists are then full of the same threads!

Same here. When I want to check back, the system says log in (again) so I try to but ohhhh no Mrs, that email address us already taken so bugger off!

I'm not able to recreate this issue on my device and I've tried more than one device and different browsers, so we need some more details to look into this one.

Please can you tell me what devices and browsers you're using?

Its ridiculous. incredibly annoying. Its putting me right off of MN.
This may well be the thing thats stops me coming back. I can be bothered with having to log back every time I want a quick peek.
Please sort this out @mnhq

hi @UrsulaBursula - have you tried the fix we posted yesterday for the consent issue?

iPhone & iPad
Navigate to your settings
Click on ‘Safari’
Scroll to the bottom and choose ‘Advanced’
Click on ‘Website Data’
Type ‘Mumsnet' into the search box
Swipe left on ‘Mumsnet’ and choose ‘Delete’

Macs
Open your Safari preferences
Click ‘Privacy’
Click ‘Manage Website Data’
Type ‘Mumsnet' into the search box
Click on ‘Mumsnet.com’ and choose ‘Remove’
Click ‘Done'

Hi, same problem for me being logged out every time I leave the site. Using a Samsung S21 on Google Chrome

Same problem for me on both my iPad and my phone, I’m using chrome and I log in through my Google account details rather than with a specific mumsnet username & password.

Did a quick search to see if this was just me....glad it's not. Not liking having to log in every time either. Even if I don't close it, I still have to log in if it's the next day and I'm just looking at the same thread.

I'm having problems adding comments on threads, I can only comment if it includes a quote, hence why I'm quoting now. I'm not sure what I can do to fix it. I'm on an android and I'm in the app
