Problems with safari

I’m having regular problems with using Mumsnet on safari. When scrolling the page often goes white and takes a while for posts to appear. Or I will click on a thread/next page and it does nothing. Or the page freezes. I’ve had this for days now.

On iPhone 11 and using safari (not app).

This sounds extremely frustrating. Do you happen to have any screenshots/screenrecordings you can send us that we can forward to our Tech team.

It usually makes the process a bit faster.

This is what I get when scrolling, I then just have to wait a while before the page loads.

We think it may well be a cache problem on your browser, which should be fairly easy to sort from your end.

If you don't know how to clear your cache, you can find instructions on how to do it here: www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache

If that doesn't sort the problem out, please don't hesitate to come back to us and we'll have another look into how to solve this.

Unfortunately it’s still been doing it. The page going white is not so bad as it doesn’t take long to load. But the freezing when I click a link is very frustrating. I am not having this with other websites including another forum.

After I cleared the cache I turned my phone off and back on again. I also on the latest version of iOS (15.3.1).

I am also having the same problem. I cleared my cache but no different. I am also using safari and on the latest OS for iPhone.

I’m finding the freezing and unresponsive links particularly awful tonight. I’ve had to open a new page to come back to this thread as the links for the thread I was on before were just not working.

I’m having the same issues too. I’m clicking on threads and everything is freezing.

Just cleared the data and problem fixed. Phew!

@DawnMumsnet @LilyMumsnet I’m still having problems. I can get through maybe 2-3 pages of a thread and then the links freeze. I just have to leave Mumsnet and try again later. I’m definitely on it a lot less since I last posted.
