Massive WhatsApp Ad hiding OPs

Does anyone else have this issue? I open a post, can read it for about 3 secs then this ad appears, covering it. I can’t scroll up or down to read the OP, only subsequent posts.

Anyone else? I’m on an iPad, using Chrome browser (not app). Completely infuriating…

Yes, it’s infuriating. I have recorded a video of it happening to send to mumsnet.

Are you working on this Mumsnet? It’s making the site unusable… it’s pretty much every post.

I’ve struggled posting replies as well as reading entire threads because of this advert the last couple of days. Today has, however, been absolutely awful.
I never normally complain, I just refresh the page, but even that’s not working any more.

All the time now. iPad, free version of the site. Almost every thread blocked, this is my fourth attempt to add to this one.

Same here. iPad. Safari. Free version. I tried to start at read in AIBU asking if it was happening to anyone else but gave up in the end.

Hi @CounsellorTroi sorry to hear you've been having problems. We're looking into this issue now. Any screenshots and a URL would of the ad would be helpful.

To do this, please turn your phone/device to airplane mode or turn off the connection, and then click on the ad. This will show the URL which you can copy and paste without actually opening the webpage.

It’s exactly the same as the first post in this thread. When I tap on the ad I get this

My iPad is permanently in Airplane mode as it’s wifi only. Don’t know if that is relevant.
