Anyone else getting multiple email notifications when there is no topic update?

That really. I thought a post was getting really lively with lots of notifications every minute or so. Click on it and nope, still at where I bookmarked it.

Please can you check your settings here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk?call=Preferences Also, please can you try fully signing out of the site and back in again - give us a shout if you're still receiving lots of notifications.

When I go to my account it comes up with the sign in screen, and I can't sign in with my saved passwords.
I've checked the settings on the link you gave me and they all seem ok. It's as if the emails notifications have been held and suddenly all released at once. It may well be an issue my end with my internet supplier. Who knows.

Thanks for doing that @longtompot. It's possibly an issue with your email - as far as we know, this isn't happening to other users. If it happens again, please give us a shout.

I havent had any email notifications for over a week and then about an hour all the notifications from the last week have been emailed to me and i have had over 20 emails all about old topics!

That does sound pretty odd. Can you let us know how you are accessing the site and the device you are using so we can take a look. Hopefully it's just a one off glitch but if it happens again or if it happens to anyone else do let us know here.

Through the app. I have had so many emails through today about topic updates that happened quite a few days ago! Up to 28 emails now and none of the topics have actually updated they are all old notifications

It's been happening to me, just one thread. I reported it by email and it stopped, and I though "good, they've fixed it", now it's happening with another thread. Every 10 mins precisely.

If it were a problem at my end, I would be expecting i to happen on all threads, indeed on all emails.

Mac/gmail. Accessing the site via Firefox, or on my iPad via Opera. Not using the app.

I'm on my iPad, not any apps. Zero notifications via email though the ones I'm watching are getting new posts. I have my settings set to sending me an email when there are new posts or if I've been mentioned.

Snap, I have just had 10 notifications on one thread.

Just did a screenshot of this evenings emails and what was actually on the messages.

Ive had issues with notifications too, quite often not getting any when the post has actually a good few new comments on it. I access it on my android phone through ecosia (chrome)

Hi all, we've paused notifications for now while we fix the underlying problem here. They should be back in an hour or two.

Notifications should be running again now.

Thank you! I thought I'd made sure there was nothing there, but just checking the photos again just saw. I seem to have a normal amount of notifications now so thank you for sorting that out too. Here's a Monday night for you
