App opening from email

Is there a way to open threads in the app when you click on a link in the roundup emails...?
Drives me mad when the thread opens in my internet browser. I end up with so many tabs open for every post I click on in the emails.

Any update on the fix for this? I've just opened five Mumsnet daily emails and now have a tab open for each thread I clicked on in the emails... I'm lazy and can't be bothered to close them all 😁

Some good news today - we know what the issue is now and we should be able to test the revised version of the app today before releasing it, which should solve this problem. We can't guarantee how long it will take Apple to OK the app once we upload it, so it might be a short wait but the fixes should be available very soon.

We did have another thought - it might be to do with where you're accessing your mail. When you're reading the round up and clicking on the thread links, are you reading that email using the iOS mail app, or something like Gmail or Outlook?

I was just thinking about this again this morning when I opened the daily roundup.
Still not working for me either.
I use the gmail app and it opens in the Google Chrome
Then when I get a good 20-30 posts into a thread the page refreshes too!
So frustrating!

What started out as a question about whether it would be possible for email links to open the app has now turned to a need for email links to open in the app!
For the last couple of weeks, if I click a link in tue daily emails it opens up in Chrome, stay open for about three seconds and then it reloads and I get a blank page saying 'Can't open this page'.

If I refresh the page the same thing happens.
So now instead of the email links sending me to the webpage, I now can't open them at all!

Any advice...?

This one has us a bit stumped to be honest! If there were a problem with the links in the email we'd expect to be seeing a lot more people with the same issue, so we aren't sure where the problem lies! Could we ask you to try opening the links from the email in a different browser, just to see if that has any effect?
