As childminders (& often parents) we use this iste a lot and were wondering if (pretty please) we could have a Topic called Childminders club or childminding club.....for us to discuss issues like pricing/advertising/conflict with parents/children/training etc.....I know you have lots of topic - but we think this is different to Going back to work or Childcare topics that exsist......iyswim
Thanks - even if the answer is no

For example on the days when I am working DS has to make sure that he is dressed, teeth cleaned, bag packed etc before the mindee child arrives.

On the days when I am not working DS has an extra 30 - 40 mins to play, get dressed, eat breakfast.

So he can stay in his Pjammas playing for longer.

On days when I am working DS has to make sure none of his toys or books or pencils are in our sitting room.

We have a list to check everywhere is safe for the minded little boy.

So being a childminder does very much affect family life whereas every other job you go out of your home. IYSWIM

Hiya everyone, I would like to be part of this club .
I live in Essex and have relatively recently become registered, advertised my socks off, still no kids Oh well hope new year will be better.
have just done my first aid course and we were told not to use latex gloves,as more people are becoming allergic to them. Food for thought?
But will make sure I have the non-latex ones for my next inspection or when i have kids ,whichever comes first lol.
