Why am I suddenly seeing loads of ads?

On my phone. Android. Am paying for Premium.

Me too... Although I'm just getting grey placeholders for ads, will screenshot.

I counted six massive add spaces in one page of a thread plus the banner overlay at the top of the page all of the time.

Ad spaces also appear in thread lists - this only just happened for me after I yet again had to give cookie etc consent.

Hi, there, quick suggestion while we get to the bottom of this. Can you try logout then login by clicking the little person then logout followed by login. That should force the site to re-read your premium status. Could you try that if it's not too much trouble? Thanks.

Hello am using mobile site, not app.
I see the big grey spaces like ItsAllGoingtobe fine does.

Hmm, I logged out on my phone and now can't log back in again as the password box won't let me type in anything that is a letter. I can do numbers, but sadly my password has letters in it too.

ignore that, sorted it.

Think ads have gone, maybe that fixed it?

Success! Makes a real difference, it's really noticeable not having had ads in the way when they come back.

This happens to me every.single.month

It's always a couple of days after I pay for MN Premium too. I know now to log out and then back in which fixes it but it's bloody infuriating!

Logging out and back in is a quick (albeit temporary) fix.

We just wanted to let you know - and in the meantime, our tech team are working really hard to prevent this from happening completely.
We appreciate it's really frustrating, and we appreciate the patience here. So thanks for bearing with us.

We'll have it sorted just as soon as we can.

It's been an issue since November 2020...
