Unable to bookmark posts/hide threads

Anyone else having this problem with android app?

Funnily enough, after me being frustrated for days - it's now sorted itself out 🤦🏼‍♀️

@CarolineMumsnet I'm not the OP but am an android user (on the Beta update version from March) and bookmarking hasn't been working for me for a couple of days now. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi @mummabubs thanks for letting us know about this. Can you confirm the browser and version that you are using please? Hopefully we can sort this out for you.

Hi @SoniaMumsnet 😊 As I said I'm an android app user, the version I have is the beta app version that was launched in early March to fix a previous load of bugs! I would upload a screen shot of the app version in Google play store but another persistent bug is that I can't post pictures! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi @mummabubs thanks for raising this - could describe what the bug looks like? Is it a problem with adding a bookmark, or viewing the bookmark after you've created it?

I don't know if this is related to the above problem but when I click on 'save thread' it fails to do so and instead takes me back to the top of the page - so I can't save and I'm immediately where I don't want to be!

I mean click on 'bookmark' of course. Not 'save thread' because that's not a thing. Sorry!

This has just started happening to me today too. I'm on an iPad and using Chrome. When I try to bookmark, it doesn't save and jumps to the top of the page.

It started doing it to me late last night and I thought I was imagining things at first. Glad it's not just me.

Click 'Bookmark' and the screen just jumps to the top of the thread and doesn't do the bookmark for you.

Me too can’t bookmark it takes me back to the top of the thread.

You can hide threads???

I was just coming on to start a thread about bookmarks, the bookmark just jumps me to the top of the thread, no matter if it is a thread I am reading or one that is on my watch list.
Firefox on a laptop.

Chrome, laptop and 'bookmark' just bounces me to the top of the page too.

Same for me. I try to bookmark, and it jumps to the top of the thread. If I go back to that thread later, I'm taken to the beginning of it. Chrome, on my laptop.

Same for me too. Have tried all three of my browsers, Safari, Chrome and Gener8 and all are the same.

This is really pissing me off now as it makes it very difficult to read long threads if you can't bookmark.
