No more notification emails + thread disappeared

Hi MN team

I commented on a thread between midnight and half past this morning, which has since disappeared entirely? It was called something like "what does google know about you".

I also don't get notification emails anymore. Not to say someone has commented on a thread I'm on/watching, nor to say that a thread's been deleted.

What is going on? I haven't changed my settings. Email address is correct, no emails from MN in junk folder.

We've found the thread - unfortunately it was taken down with this deletion message:

Sorry all, this is a previously banned poster. We've taken this thread down and sent them on their way now.

So that's the first mystery solved. Can we ask how long you haven't been receiving email notifications? We'll try to get to the bottom of this for you.

I've gone through my emails and the last email notification I can see is from mid Dec. I do get the round up emails and responses to reported posts (last one 30/01).

Thanks - we'll have a look behind the scenes and see if we can work out why there's a blockage.

I've got a "you've been mentioned in a post" email so that's promising, thank you!

I will keep an eye on the "someone's posted on a thread you're on/watching" emails.

I too have not been getting any email notifications since December. Very odd! Perhaps you can check that too? Thanks.

I got @ mentioned twice yesterday, but no email. How do I find this preference option to get the messages back?

I reported not getting email notifications a few weeks ago, and I'm still not. Maybe you can fix the glitch for me too? Also, I have changed my log-in email address, but am still getting round-up emails at my old address.
