Where can i find the place to set up different colours for my posts and OP's posts? I have done it before, but can't find it in My Mumsnet/settings.

I managed to find it via google, but still can't see how to access it any other way.

I found a clicky link via google. So I used that which worked fine because I am already logged in. It was in an old post by somebody else.

OP, mind sharing that link please? I'd like to do this too.

I am just charging lap top, so posting on phone atm. Temperamental lap top only charges when closed.
I googled highlight posts mumsnet and it came up.

Can't find the link now, but having googled more, there is a customise button somewhere.

Arrgh! I was hoping it would be different this time. That option still doesn't show on mine when I go to customise. Have no idea why and I'm sure I saw it a long time ago. Could be wrong.

In the menu I think.

Go to Settings and choose Colour Scheme.

Always hopeful with each suggestion only to be disappointed again. 😔

There's nowhere to choose colour scheme when I click settings. I only have Newsletters, Hide shortcut buttons, About you, Mates and Password settings.

Same here with settings. When I get into laptop I will try to find the link.

Op if it's the same customize button I know, I also don't have that option there (Weird). I followed your suggestion and googled and that's what I saw. I've tried that before and did so again after I read your post. That's why I said I'd hoped it would be different. Unless it's in a different 'customize' area entirely which I doubt (but still hopeful), then tough luck for me still. Thanks for the help.

Actually, now I am on the laptop, I can't see a customise button either, but the link took me straight to the page. Very strange.

Interesting. Wonder if it's a glitch. I know I've seen that option before but since the premium update (I think), I've not seen the extra features on the customise page anymore. I don’t think it was removed for non premium users, it could just be a glitch. Anyway, not to worry. it's alright.

Ah! I think it might be in "getting Started". Near the very bottom of the home page, not the talk page.

So sorry OP but is there a way you could post a link to the 'getting started' page? Can't seem to find it anywhere on the homepage. I'm also sure I've seen 'Getting started' somewhere before.

Oh never mind, I've seen Getting started. Was in the talk section where the customise link is.

Now to check if I can see anything to help with this there.

Alas, nope. Sends me to the same customise page, where I only have Talk options, Talk notifications and Ignore topics in Active conversations.

I am sure I found it right at the bottom of the getting started page. Sigh. It isn't very user friendly is it.

Hmm. I have just tried it again. The Getting started link is next to Talk guidelines just above where you type in the box to add a post.
Then almost at the bottom of the getting started on MN page there is a "customise talk" clicky link. When i clicked on that it took me to the page where you can select colours, watch threads etc. But maybe it isn't the same for everyone.
