Why would someone troll about this? I find it staggering that a person would go to so much trouble to make it all up. For what gain 🤷‍♀️

Attention? It was so clearly made up but there were hundreds of posters offering sympathy and telling OP how amazing she was.

It was her sister and fiancé and family friend.

Ok ok!!! I had forgotten that piece of the story in my amazement it was all made up.

And no, whilst the shooting story may have been out there and extremely unusual, I'd have never expected anyone to lie about their dead baby. If she's done that, that's unforgivable. I am actually truly disgusted as a mother to three angel babies, disgusted.

To be honest it seemed rather far fetched to me and I struggled to believe it wouldn’t have been all over the press. I would never have commented to say so though just in case it was real and would feel awful wrongly accusing someone of trolling about something like that. I assumed as so many people were taking it at face value that I was just being overly cynical ...

Depressinly Pansy, a huge number of trolls include still birth or the death of a young child. It's disgusting and I don't know what causes behaviour like this.
