Repeatably having to sign in.

Every time I rejoin MN having looked at other sites. I am told to sign in or register. I always use the 'keep me signed in' button.
It is so annoying.
Any clue as to why this is happening and how to solve it?

This shouldn't be happening if the 'keep me logged in' box is ticked - unless your clearing cookies/using different IPs.

Can you let us know what device and browser you're using a majority of the time?

Thanks, LilyMumsnet. We have three IPads and use whichever is most charged. I only have the problem with one. I use Safari for all of them.
I suspect it is the particular iPad that is the problem, but it has only started happening in the last few days, and I can’t understand the reason.
(Not sure what IPs are )

We're not too sure what else to suggest at this point unless more people complain. It's very isolated and difficult for us to replicate - sorry about that.

Can you try clearing your cookies, and then logging in and keeping the 'keep me logged in' box is ticked?

Yes will have a go at cookie clearing. All is well with this IPad at least.

I have the "Keep me logged in" box ticked.

It is happening on iPhone, Safari browser not the App.

It just started happening - never happened before.

Desktop - no problems.

Thanks for the extra info, @MoleSmokes. We're looking into this but in the meantime could you also try clearing your cookies just to check whether it's still happening?

Could you talk us through the hard-reset so that if anyone else is having issues, they can give this a go?

It varies depending what model of iPhone you are using. Best thing to do is to search for “iPhone hard reset”.
