Can’t get on the mobile site on iPhone

I use Mumsnet on an iPhone 11 and in the last couple of days I’ve noticed that I’m always on the desktop version of the site and can’t seem to get on the mobile version of the site which is a total pain. I’ve tried logging out but it makes no difference. Driving me mad trying to read the teeny desktop site text. Has anyone had the same?

Are you able to upload a screenshot for us? If you scroll all the way down, do you see the option to change it over to the mobile site at all?

@soniamumsnet this has been a problem for quite some time now. The link to swap between desktop and mobile that used to appear at the bottom of the pages no longer appears on many devices. Nightwatchers raised this with @MichaelMumsnet, who flagged it to tech.

You used to be able to flip between desktop and mobile site, but now that option at the bottom of the screen is no longer there.

I'm using an iPhone X.

So I actually stumbled across what was causing the issue for me. Went into Safari settings on my phone and there is a setting called “request desktop site” and when I clicked on that, weirdly, Mumsnet was listed so I just needed to unselect Mumsnet. I have no recollection of ever selecting this (didn’t even know this setting existed!) but might be worth double checking this setting for anyone on an iPhone or iPad.

I've just done that, but it doesn't work for me.

This has just started happening on my phone too. Mumsnet homepage is in mobile version but any links go straight to the desktop version.
