Has anyone else had problems with the iPhone app intermittently not working with WiFi?
Most of the time everything works fine but often in the evening pages won't load & I get an error message. When I switch to 4G everything works fine again.
It's not an issue with any other apps or internet on my phone, only Mumsnet and much worse in the evening.

Sorry to hear you've been having problems with the site of an evening. We'll keep this thread on our radar and if it looks like this is a problem for lots of people, we'll take a closer look.

Can you let us know what the error message says please? If you can screenshot it, that would help too.

Can we ask - have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? We know it's a bit of a pain but would be good to give it a try. It's difficult when the issue is contained to one user, to find out the cause - so just wondering if there's a newer update that hasn't installed properly.

My iPhone does this, it's been happening for a long time. It's an iPhone 7 running iOS 13.6.1, and the app is up to date.

This has happened for ages over a 2 iPhones. Yes, I have tried reinstalling the app, doesn't seem to make a difference

Hi @soniamumsnet yes, still not working well on WiFi. App works fine when I switch WiFi off & use 4G. Worse in the evenings / overnight

Hi @choosername1234 please can we check that you're using the latest version of the app?

@soniamumsnet I don't know how to check which version of the app I'm using but no update is showing via App Store
