Can't reply to DMs

I can type in the box but when I click send, it comes up with a box and the only option is "close". When I click close it just goes back to my previously typed message...

I'm using safari on a MacBook.

I can't reply either - I too can type in the box but when I press send, it comes up with a message saying "Mumsnet says" and a blue box with OK on it. Pressing OK does nothing.

I'm using desktop chrome but the same happens on my mobile

What's going on?

Hi - thanks for reporting this. Please can you try signing out and back in again, and let us know if you are still experiencing problems?

Same thing unfortunately. Signed out and back in. Tried it on my laptop and my phone.

Sending as new messages should definitely work - are the subject lines particularly long?

No, very short tbf. Sending new seems to work. I'll see if I can reply now and let you know.
