A box takes over half my screen playing a video and it is very annoying! Using chrome on a Samsung s8 if that matters.

It's ridiculous. I can hardly see the posts just a stupid advert. I'm on a Samsung phone too.

It's just popped up again. When the add is playing it's also very tricky to scroll past.

Me too. Seems to be on the thread list, don't think I have had it on an actual thread. Had it multiple times over the last few days, it's very frustrating. I am on a Huawei, Chrome browser.

It's been happening to me too. Using Chrome on a Motorola phone.

Both the pot noodle ad and a persil ad doing the same.

Pot Noodle ad keeps popping up for me today too blocking part of the screen. I know there needs to be advertising, but pop up videos (of men flossing?) Are annoying.

I spoke too soon. The pot noodle ad is making an appearance again today.

Yes, both persil and pot noodle making browsing difficult. Problem is it really puts me off the advertiser and I do try and support those that advertise on here.

Happening to me too and even when the ad doesn't pop up, my screen freezes/whites out and I get the audio of the ad blasting away instead. The only way to stop it is to shut everything and start again.

I'm on an S10 running Chrome. May have muttered the words "Pot Noodles can FUCK RIGHT OFF" which is possibly not the aim of their advert campaign?

Same here. Chrome on a Samsung something or other. A71 maybe

I was coming on here to complain too. Advert can't be shut down and lasts for a while before a cross appears so you can turn it off. Very annoying.

It's so annoying. I'm using a Moto G7. Comes on all the time taking up half the screen.
