App freezing

I don't like using Mumsnet website as app is simpler, but it keeps freezing and I need to close it and restart - keeping message short in case it freezes and I can't post!

Any advice?

I've just started this exact thread, should have read this first. I too have this issue, using iOS phone version of the app.

Hey guys, thanks for raising this. Can you let me know what version of iOS you're using and what version of the app you're on? You can check the app version by opening the menu and the version number is at the bottom.

• Does it tend to happen at a certain time? Mid-scrolling through a thread? After a long time using the app?
• Is there a certain date you can remember this starting to happen? Will help me track which release might have caused it.

At any time - doesn't enable you to use for a long time

Thanks for your answers - is anyone still seeing this freezing problem? We've not seen much change in the way people are using the app, so think it might be a rare incident. If we see something come up, we'll fix it - but right now we haven't been able to get to the bottom of it.

Ah that's great to hear @Uhtredswoman! I don't know why it's suddenly stopped (and I'm not shameless enough to take credit for it), but I'm hoping that's the last we see of the bug...
