Email alerts

I used to get email alerts if someone replied to me with the @ function but this has now stopped, although I didn’t change anything.

When I go into my account I can no longer see anywhere to change email alert preferences (only the round up type emails), but I’m sure this used to be possible.

Anyone else finding this? Am I just missing something?

Any ideas, MNHQ?

We're not exactly sure why your settings have changed, but you should be able to sort this by clicking on the Preferences page. If you scroll down to the bottom to the Talk Notifications heading, you can click on the box to allow notifications when you're mentioned on a thread.

Hi Dawn, thank you so much for that, and apologies for my inability to navigate the site yesterday (hangovers at my age’ll do that to you!).

The weird thing is that when I clicked on there, my preferences hadn’t actually changed and the send emails when I’m mentioned option is still ticked, but I just haven’t been getting those alerts - eg I was tagged half a dozen times in a thread towards the end of last month but not one email came through.

Have checked spam folder obviously but not there either, and they always come through to my inbox anyway.

So it doesn’t seem to be working for some reason. Always did before. A bit odd! I did wonder if it was a sitewide thing, hence posting here, but evidently not...?
