Hello folks,

We're thinking about arranging some official AMA (Ask Me Anything) threads and we'd love to know who your dream AMA guest is.

Ever wondered what Tom Hardy dips into his tea? Lost sleep whilst thinking about how Claudia gets her hair so glossy? Curious as to whether her Maj ever settles down with Phil and a tray of snacks to binge-watch The Crown?

Or maybe you’ve wondered what working life is like for a paramedic; how successful entrepreneurs made their fortune; or what school receptionists find most annoying about their job?

Anything goes - so let your imagination run free and tell us who you’d like to see do an AMA by the 20th March to be in with a chance to win a limited edition bottle of Red Velvet Cupcake Baileys. We'll be picking four random winners from this thread.

In the meantime, you can check out some past AMAs here to get some ideas.

P.S If you want to ogle at Baileys collection of flavours, click this creamy link (but you'll need to confirm your age, first).

I would love to ask sue radford how she copes a screaming baby and a whingy toddler are too much for me at times. Would also love to know if the queen has watched the crown

InMySpareTime · 03/03/2020 20:24

I'd ask Michael Rosen what he thinks about the use of language in news and politics, and the way words are used in public discourse to include or marginalise groups of people.

Spartonian · 03/03/2020 20:27

Lee Evans - Is he ever coming out of early retirement

ssd · 03/03/2020 20:29

I'd love to ask the duchess of Cambridge although I know it would never be allowed. I really like her.

Failing that Holly Willoughby.

ssd · 03/03/2020 20:30

Sorry meant to ask Holly. Are you ever fed up, you always seem so cheerful.

emphasisofmatter · 03/03/2020 20:33

I'd like an AMA for Richard Branson, ask loads of questions about having your own island!

KarmaStar · 03/03/2020 20:44

Crunched · 03/03/2020 21:04

I’d like to ask Peter Kay why he cancelled his last tour.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/03/2020 21:05

I'd like to ask Boris Johnson if he'd like to allow me to push him into a ditch.

HazelBite · 03/03/2020 21:05

I'd like to ask the programme makers of the various soaps how they come up with their plot lines.

CarolHasAnotherUTI · 03/03/2020 21:42

The people on Gogglebox.

I'd want to know the positives and negative about doing it, and if they have any regrets about doing it.

Sweetdreamer93 · 03/03/2020 21:56

I want to know if Mumsnet has an alcohol licence.

Thedogscollar · 03/03/2020 22:07

I'd like to ask Sussana Reid if she really likes Piers Morgan and if yes WHY???

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 03/03/2020 22:17

I'd like to ask the Queen if she ever gets out money or stamps and looks at herself.

Or maybe holds it up by her face and says "remind you of anyone?!" round the dinner table.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 03/03/2020 22:19

I'd like to ask whatsisface Jack who invented Twitter if he'd do it again, knowing what an utter cesspit of violence and threats it is (esp for women)

TwatCat · 03/03/2020 22:20

I'd like to ask my one cat why he's such a twat every morning at 5:20.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 03/03/2020 22:21

I'd like to ask MN Lily if we can all have those cool quote marks please?

Has to be Kate Middleton for me. How much Nanny involvement has she when she's not working? Does she have a personal trainer (I want one). Does she do Pilates or Yoga? Has she a personal chef and hairdresser? Does she get a say into her wardrobe? Does she avoid reading press coverage or indeed SM coverage of her? What was the most shocking thing about her life when she became a royal? Does she do homework with the children when she's not working?

aWeaponCalledtheWord · 03/03/2020 22:45

i too would like to know if the Royal Family watch The Windsors.

i bet Charles and Camilla do, and i bet they roar laughing.

NerrSnerr · 03/03/2020 23:02

I would ask Paula Radcliffe why she isn't as vocal as she used to be about doping and whether she was one of the 'small number of British athletes' that was given L-carnitine.

Xiaoxiong · 03/03/2020 23:05

I'd love to ask the Duke of Edinburgh about growing up with a mother with mental health problems, especially given the younger royals' focus on mental health.

Lightofthephoenix · 03/03/2020 23:08

I would ask MNOlivia why did all the funny troll post removal messages stop.

KitchenDancefloor · 03/03/2020 23:21

I'd like to ask my parents if I made the correct palliative care decisions when acting on their behalf. Was there anything left unsaid about their lives in the eulogies?

Impossible of course, but an AMA from someone in palliative care would be helpful, especially as the AMAs from the funeral director and crematorium worker were surprisingly uplifting and comforting.

On a lighter note an AMA with Claudia Winkleman because she is hilarious and I want the backstage goss from Strictly.

MathsFiend · 03/03/2020 23:25

I’d ask the boss of Baileys who’s idea was red velvet cupcake Baileys, because it sounds absolutely bogging!

flummoxedlummox · 03/03/2020 23:47

I'd love to ask an Antiques Roadshow expert how much they're worth. Grin
