It's back again - Random thread opening

Ages ago there was an issue where on the mobile site you would click on a thread title in Active and a random thread 3-5 threads up the list would open instead.

Now it's back, and just as irritating.

And I tried to start a thread earlier but it says it's been auto-deleted.

Yep, me too. It actually took me three attempts to open this

Thank god for that, I thought my phone was knackered! This has been happening to me since last night.

Been happening to me too. Also, have wasted time typing responses that end up in the name bar.

Is it the adverts loading too slowly? Dunno. All I know is if I open a thread about cheating husbands and end up with one about poo crumbs it's all a bit confusing.

Urgh. Sorry to hear this issue seems to have returned for some of you.

Just checking, this is on desktop and mobile site? If you could let us know the devices you are using, that would also be really helpful.

In the meantime, we'll take a look our end to see if we can see what's going on here.

Mobile site on an android phone. No issues on desktop, where there is an ad blocker.

I wasn't trying to open this thread but since I'm here, yes it's happening to me on the mobile site using Chrome on an Android device.

Top adverts very slow to load and it's making everything laggy. Means when you click a thread you don't get that thread but most likely the one above it ( which you don't want!) It's infuriating and making the site very difficult to use. I've tried waiting for the top advert to fully load but even then it's still hit and miss.

MN is so shit at the mo, I spend more time on Reddit.

Glad it's not just me!!! Mobile, android. Click 'food', open 'tattoos'... click on a thread, get one 5 above it. Driving me crazy!!

It's always happened to me! Didn't realise it was a thing- thought it was my fat fingers!
I opened a s&b thread four times just now (same one) before I managed to get the one I wanted opened.
