Why has my thread about employment been deleted?

I’m a very old poster on MN although I do NC quite a bit. This is annoying. I wasn’t even told why.

MNHQ I was going to email you directly but I’m not sure what the best email address is.

Yeah, I mean I didn't mention the company or anything. MNHQ must know I'm not a troll because I've posted on here since 2004 and they must be able to see this.

No, of course not I'd never do that. I didn't even say what industry.

Obviously there must be a reason but it would have been nice if MMHQ could tell me the reason. It just says 'we have to take this down for now'

Obviously the days of MNHQ not deleting threads easily are long gone...

If it's the thread I'm thinking of it was a very innocuous thread, seems strange to have deleted it.

This has been happening to all of my threads they get deleted, they just disappear. It's been like this for a couple of weeks at least.

Was it the one about having to wait six weeks to get paid? If so, I wonder if it’s to do with the fact that you were criticising the public sector or somebody else criticised it. I only got to page 2.

Can you remember what posts were directly before the deletion?

Nobody criticised the public sector, as far as I know. I noticed that a lot of the people saying it had happened to them work for the LA or NHS.

If they think it's a troll they usually say 'we're looking behind the scenes'

It's really weird. And I have emailed MNHQ and they've not replied. And yet they leave threads up with a title 'what makes somebody common'

People criticise public sector all the time on Mumsnet - never seem threads deleted because of that before.

I've still received no reply from MNHQ....

I took the poster before saying they thought I was a troll meaning that the thread was deleted because I was a PBP or something...

I can't imagine how a thread about payroll could be trolling - public sector or not!
Some do-gooders would find offence at the slightest thing these days.
