What's with the 'click here' for links? And can I make it go away?

Just noticed that now anytime someone posts a link, it says 'click here'.

I'm not keen on clicking on links when I cannot see the source, is there any way I can see the source on the app?

Quite a minor point, I know but it's somewhat irksome.

Sorry to hear that this is bothering you, @ClashCityRocker - it does sound rather irksome, indeed!

Are you please able to take some screenshots so our Tech team can take a look? You can mail them directly to [email protected] or just post them on here if easier.

It would be a great help.

TIA.

I'm having this too and half of them dont actually link to anywhere

Did this ever get resolved @LouMumsnet
All links are just appearing as "click here" for me and like the OP I am not keen on clicking on something when I have no idea what site it's going to take me to.

Same here

LilyMumsnet · 02/06/2019 18:39

Hi folks

Can we get some screenshots?

goodwinter · 02/06/2019 22:48

I posted about it (and numerous other bugs on the app) here:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/site_stuff/3586915-links-broken-on-android-app

Also not only do links say "click here" on the app but some of them don't actually link at all - it's just plain text!

@LouMumsnet

Here's some screenshots from today, I use the android app.

One has just the text 'click here' which is not clickable. The other thread the link works, but it appears as 'click here' So you can't see what link you are going to.
