Hello, I’m about to see if it’s a problem at my end, but wondering if anyone is getting a pop up from “ searchoeper” offering a free gift (too busy fighting it from redirecting me to read the details). Obviously not legit though, so beware.

I’m getting this too, was really worried I had a virus or something!

AngieMumsnet · 28/01/2019 14:04

Hi Everyone,

I have been informed that this issue has been replicated and blocked, can you please let me know if the popup continues to show up with a screenshot and information on what device you are using.

Thanks

maxmissie01 · 28/01/2019 15:03

I'm still getting it, am on a Samsung S8. Screenshot has hopefully worked.

Whatsthatbrightlght · 28/01/2019 16:18

AngieMumsnet · 28/01/2019 16:23

Ok thanks for updating the thread, we are continuing to investigate.

JulietAconite · 28/01/2019 17:41

yes getting this, v v v annoying. When mumsnet email links to the site to show today's selection of posts. Can't get rid of it without losing link to mumsnet completely.

JulietAconite · 28/01/2019 17:42

iphone using yahoo mail

shortgreengiraffe · 28/01/2019 17:59

I am having this constantly on my iPhone 7 using Safari. I have the latest operating system.

Only way I have found to get rid of it is close safari and go back to MN but it's happening every 2-3 mins so seriously annoying.

Testarossa1 · 28/01/2019 21:07

Been happening on my iPad, but not on my phone, Samsung galaxy 8.

elenaf · 28/01/2019 22:10

I'm still getting it on my Samsung Galaxy S6, in Chrome. I also can't log in unless I use an incognito browser window. I enter my details, press go, and nothing happens. Been like that for a few days!

lilyblue5 · 29/01/2019 13:28

Think it’s gone for me Smile

AngieMumsnet · 29/01/2019 14:24

Hi All,

We are hoping this issue has been resolved but we are still testing a few things and need some help please.
Can you visit this link;

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/the_tack_room/680402-Welcome

and let us know if you see that popup or if all is clear.

Thanks so much.

ratspeaker · 29/01/2019 16:46

Nothing came up as I read that thread.

We used to have herds of my little pony migrating room to room, all in a line through the hall

Wonkypalmtree · 02/02/2019 12:02

Clicking on the x doesn’t clear the screen! You just get more ads

I hate this top! When are you going to fix this?

Wonkypalmtree · 05/02/2019 20:37

There isn’t an option to close these ads

JLbaby · 05/02/2019 21:08

Yes it’s been happening for months now. I’ve given up using mn on my phone as I can’t close the ads and refreshing doesn’t make a difference, the ads just come back again.

AnyaMumsnet · 06/02/2019 09:27

Hi there @Wonkypalmtree,

What happens when you press the blue triangle on the advert? That should give you the option to close the ad normally.
