In the past on the app I could post on 'I'm On' and watch threads on 'Watching'
Now all my posts go to both.
Why ?

Please look into it as its taking up even more space on my phone which already has storage issues Sad

Hi there OP,

Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry this slipped through the net before.

We're sorry if we're being dim but we're a bit confused - could you please give a bit more detail? And what device are you using to access Mumsnet?

beanaseireann · 29/10/2018 10:33

I'm using an iPhone - Mumsnet app.
The threads on 'I'm On' are also appearing in 'I'm Watching' despite I not clicking on 'Watch' for those threads.
Duplicating basically, when it's not necessary.
And therefore taking up more storage.

Hi @beanaseireann, thanks for raising this. There's 2x parts to the answer:

  1. By default, any thread you post on will be automatically added to your watch list, you can change that by going [[https://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?call=Preferences here]] (on the web only I'm afraid).
  2. The thread being added to Threads I'm On takes up almost zero space on your phone. The Talk app in general is very lightweight, and shouldn't take up much space on your phone at all (unlike other social networks 👀)

Thank you. But threads going into ' I'm Watching ' and threads 'I'm On' is s new phenomenon for my phone.
Same phone and same phone company.
Did Mumsnet techies Chanel anything recently?
