Two threads almost 6 months apart involving weight shaming and when the smug fest is over clamours for it to be deleted like it never happened. Attempts at erasure.

Thread 1 was left to stand eventually after some calls for it to be deleted. Because some of us objected to feelings being trampled on which was bad enough but then to erase that?!

Thread 1
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3205882-To-think-that-s-it-s-cheeky-as-fuck-to-expect-other-people-to-fund-your-skin-removal-surgery

And now history is repeating itself The same is being repeated on this thread

Thread 2

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3350952-To-not-understand-how-this-different-from-putting-an-anorexic-model-on-the-cover

Please do not delete MNHQ Its bad enough that some of the comments have been made but to then take the thread down creates too much oppurtunity for gaslighting later on.

The remarks have already been made anyway.

Also it would be like pretending it never happened To erase it is to erase and deny what happens to overweight people both online and off.

Please dont delete.
