“The webpage was reloaded because a problem occurred”

For the last couple of weeks, when using Mumsnet on iPad (not app) I get a glitch with the above message. It causes me to be automatic logged out and Imhave to log in all over again.

Anyone else having this or is a problem confined to my iPad?

snew - same. I mean it leaves me on the same thread (but on, say, p4 of it instead of seeing the whole thread) - but I’m no longer logged in. So can’t post or see OP or my posts highlighted

Annoying being logged out all the time

What browser are you using when this happens? Would it be possible to grab a screenshot of the error?

I get this on my android app, have just logged out and on again now.

I get it all the time - iPad/safari. Now having to use Puffin browser, which doesn't have this problem.

I've seen this problem before on one of our web apps, it was to do with the page using too much memory (as far as Safari was concerned), we only saw it on older devices though.

I also have this all the time. Only on MN as far as I can remember. Doesn’t log me out, just takes me back to some random point close to the start of the thread. I’d say it happens at least once in every hour of browsing. So used to it now it didn’t occur to me to draw attention to it.

Am on the mobile site on an iPhone 6S. Safari.

I’m getting this all the time too. I’m using safari on iPhone. It’s very irritating as when it reloads it always takes me back to the top of the thread I’m reading. If it’s a long thread it’s a massive pain to find my place again.

Any news on a resolution?

I only get this on (new!) iPad using Safari, not with iPhone, nor with pC and internet explorer

Been happening a lot to me recently and particularly bad today - Safari on iPhone. Seems to happen more with long threads, so maybe it is some sort of memory issue as a pp suggested.

Same here over the past couple of days, threads are unreadable on the iPad. Works ok on iPhone and laptop.

So annoying, and like you,say only with this website
