Hi Phelan. Thanks for letting us know. If you navigate away from the page is it popping up again? It should only appear once a day, apparently, but actually it shouldn't be over the toolbar anyway. We'll report this to the ads team but let us know if it's happening repeatedly. It should be a once-a-day thing, as we said.

Morning, Phelan. Thanks for coming back to us. We've just had confirmation from our ads people. It should only be appearing on the desktop where it shouldn't be causing you navigation problems so they've fixed that now. And they've confirmed you should only see it once a day so once you've closed it each day it shouldn't pop up again.

Hate to say but I get a blue bar - and not just once a day; had at least three in the last 10 mins.
The only way to get away from it is to move to a different website and then come back to Mumsnet.

Hi, BitchyInnerMonologue - those are ad choices (you can tell by the small blue arrow in the corner). They're linked to Google - and mainly based on search history. They shouldn't stop you from navigating the site, though.

Hi Sophie, do you mean the ad at the top of the photo? I think bitchy means the blue bar down at the bottom covering the toolbar like my purple bar.

Thanks, Phelan. Right, in that case, are you seeing it more than three times a day? We think that's the limit, but we'd need to check on that.

Yes, the one down the bottom over the "Active" buttons.

And I counted about 5-6 times in quick succession before I gave up and moved away from the site.
