Posting images - how many a day?

What determines how many images you can post a day? Different posters seem to have different quotas of images they can post. Is it to do with how long one has been registered on Mumsnet?

As far as I'm aware, everyone has the same limit - there shouldn't be any difference whether you've been on the site for six years or six weeks. The maximum number of images anyone's able to post per day is six.

However, we do prevent newbies from being allowed to post images for a number of days - just in order to thwart the pervs and dodgepots...

It will tell you have many you have hint: mine is not 6

Under the posting box for me, next to the 3 'Choose File' boxes it says Images (up to 30 per day:

I'm sure I read before that it is to do with how long you have been registered.

I said mine was 6 once and a ton of people said they could post 30!

Was in the parking thread where the lady dressed up as a unicorn I believe.

I've been on here for about 15 sodding years! Why am I not 30 image status?!

I very rarely upload pictures so I don't use it much. I de-regged and re-regged after the Jeffrey thing(?) as my username & password was on the list of hacked ones. So I've not had this account forever either.

Shh - Tech will do an audit and remove our 30 pictures a day privileges. Sssshhhhhh!!!!!

Well that's not fair! I've been here since the DAWN OF TIME and I don't have that privilege.
