I have NO interest in Pampers!

In the last hour I'm getting a pop up asking if I want to read the best car seat review (or something). Not interested, so I click the X, but this then opens up a new tab as if I clicked on the Pampers ad underneath.

I was just coming to complain about this myself.

Something about car seats in a purple box, I click the X to get rid of it and it sends me to Tesco to look at nappies.

I'm using Safari on my laptop if that helps.

Sorry for any inconvenience that this is causing. We're going to take a look at it but can we just ask, where are you on the site when this happens? Anyone able to take a screenshot and send it our way?

It doesn't happen any more BUT the Pampers ads are huge and often when navigating around the site it's too easy to inadvertently click on them (the whole idea I suppose). It's frustrating and gives MN a sort of cheap feel...ah ha....we'll get the suckers to click on the ads.

What happens is, I go to www.mumsnet.com/ and while I'm moving my mouse to click on a talk topic, the header ad suddenly appears ie slight delay and you end up clicking on that rather than the topic.

And while I'm here, there are still Xmas ad showing.

Just stealing this from another thread that we've just posted on. Thanks for the feedback. Just a little update here. Not too far into the future, we'll be able to make sure that logged in users don't get stuff that they've no earthly use for. We're not quite there yet, so please do bear with us and watch this space.
